Here at Cool Cat all our collars come with safety features and many use a breakaway clip. With this in mind our chief product tester (AKA Kooki the cat) has decided to put her top five break away Cat Collars together for this short article. Breakaway cat collars are designed keep your cat safe by opening should they become snagged on something whilst out and about. All break away collars are fitted with a small clip, usually made of plastic, which is designed to release the cat if they apply sufficient force so the cat, and the collar can escape unscathed.
