Stray Cat Finds New Home

24 September 2014  |  kelly

A while back we featured cat walk model, Perseus from Caerphilly, and today we hear how he has befriended a stray female cat and taught her the tricks of the trade as to how to be a super model too!

Here's the touching story of how Phoenix has settled in to her lovely new home:

"You may remember I wrote to you some time ago with a couple of photos of my Bengal Perseus which you kindly put on your cat walk model Blog.

I have attached a photo of Phoenix wearing your Bobby Voyageur Reflective Pink leather collar….   Phoenix is a new addition to our ‘family’.  Percy found her living rough in the trees at the top of our garden around two months ago. She is a little grey female tabby, the vet thinks around 1 to 2 years old.  She was very underweight and riddled with fleas and a matted coat.

I took photo’s and displayed them at the vets and on Facebook but no one came forward as her owners.  So now after several visits to the vets she has been spayed, micro chipped, inoculated, de-flead and wormed and is firmly part of our lives.

She has put on weight having six small meals a day, and now has a lovely coat. She is still a little nervous but is quietly coming out of her shell and learning to play and enjoy life again.

Percy absolutely adores her and they have their own room with a climbing frame, two big beds, toys, litter trays and food and biscuits where they cuddle up at night.

She is just adorable …….."

We agree she is adorable, here she is!
